Ferruccio Lamborghini, born under the zodiac sign of Taurus, founded the famous super car company and gave it the symbol of the fighting bull. When the Miura was introduced, he named the car after a famous breed of fighting bull, and this practice became a tradition for the House of the Bull. Honouring this tradition, the Lamborghini Gallardo is named after the Gallardo breed of fighting bull.

The four-wheel drive chassis has aluminium double wishbones front and rear, anti-roll bar, anti-dive and anti-squat.
